Illustrators who want to build a portfolio in a fun way can work on a chapter book from the Flip Side Fairy Tales series. Individuals can do all seven artworks or a group of friend can collaborate toward the finished product. Seven suggested drawing for inside each of seven chapters are the basis for your personal gallery. Then, you chose an additional scene from the book to turn into your full-color finished artwork for the cover. Artist photo and blurb appear on the back cover, and a personal badge on the front identifies you as the creative genius (or team) responsible for this version of the book.
This workshop lasts 4 weeks. Any books ordered as a result of the workshop are purchased separately directly from Flip Side Fairy Tales and shipped to your home or team-centered location (such as a school, youth program, family, or club.) For group projects, the base fee is $20 and each additional participant is $10.
