Contests

Seasons for contests may vary. In 2020, due to boredom brought on by restrictions on travel and shopping, the contests will begin early.

Your "Order Number.CONTEST.Last Name" should appear as subject for your entry to content@fsftshop.com

APRIL 1 - JUNE 30 FOR KIDS

Kids art contest (FREE) will have weekly winners, and all artwork will be entered in final judging

Kids writing contest ($5 entry fee) will have monthly winners, and all stories will be entered in final judging.

1) PAY - add contest to cart, and checkout (even for FREE contests)

2) SEND ENTRY:  Your "Order Number.CONTEST.Last Name" should appear as subject for your entry to content@fsftshop.com

3) WIN: Child winners for art will be chosen weekly, but ALL artwork from every week will be judged at contest deadline June 30. Writing winners, same idea, only MONTHLY early winners will be chosen.

PRIZE: Free PDF copy of your art on a cover of a fairy tale, or free PDF booklet (3x5) with your story inside. This can be printed by your family or school locally. When we can safely send materials in the mail, the contest in 2021 will allow us to go back to print copies of winning works.

ENTERING GRANTS FSFT ONLY DISPLAY RIGHTS - you will not be identified with your work unless you're a winner and your parent has signed a release form (due by July 15.) FSFT may display your art without name on social media, or print small excerpts from story entries.

ADULT - EARLY ENTRIES ACCEPTED (this year only)

DATES:  July 1-31 is the official contest period for adult ART and WRITING contests. Due to 2020 circumstances, early entries are accepted.

ENTRY FEES: $25 for individual / $40 for team

3) WIN: All winners notified by August 15 and copyright releases due by August 30. Social Media announcement by September 15.

GRAND PRIZE:  $200 with $50 runners up in art and writing categories.

GENRE: Fairy Tales for Children.

LISTING: Winning works will be posted on website if they meet all requirements for age, content, and copyright

ART: any media artwork. Send jpeg. Digital art judged separately from Drawing, Painting, 3D art.

WRITNG:  Send as .doc or .docx file 2000-4000 word stories with fairy tale theme

RESULTS: Winners announced August 15
