Everybody knows pregnant women have irresistable cravings for food, but only in fairy tales do the cravings get them in such huge trouble. A lettue-like plant called Rampion (or in German Rapunzel) leaves a mother all alone with no baby because the plant she craves happens to be owned by an ill-tempered witch who makes discouraging deals. The child, all alone with nothing to do but grow her hair, amazingly turns out alright and even finds love. A pamphlet-sized book with a happy ending.
